Our Mission

We Declare Hope

Declare Hope’s mission is to connect innovative minds and hopeful hearts to cultivate greater awareness for pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is a deadly disease that strikes fast and holds no punches. We get it. We’ve lived it, and we want to help soften the blow.

Our goals are to increase pancreatic cancer awareness in the state of Louisiana and provide services for families facing this horrible disease.

Our Values

We Believe In

  • building a community of hope for all who face the challenges of pancreatic cancer

  • using innovation and creativity to serve pancreatic cancer patients and their families

  • fearlessly working to shift the negative tone associated with pancreatic cancer awareness

  • approaching all Declare Hope endeavors with honesty, transparency and the grace that only Cathy Scott could exude

  • showing patients and families the same compassion that was shown to Cathy Scott during her battle with pancreatic cancer
