Michelle has always possessed a love for helping others. This endearing quality is visible in her work as a territory manager for Horizon Pharma, and in the work she does to further the mission of Declare Hope.
“Declare Hope means embodying all of the characteristics of Mrs. Cathy Scott. Being determined, loving and optimistic about spreading awareness for pancreatic cancer and working towards finding new treatment options and a potential cure. We demand better for all of the people fighting this disease, and we declare hope for their family and friends.”
Megan grew up in Marrero, La, where she spent an immeasurable amount of time making priceless memories with her “Auntie Cathy.” She earned a BS in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

“As a board member of Declare Hope, I want to uphold the legacy of Cathy Keller Scott through faith, community, family and love. It is with diligence that we continue to support research to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. I declare hope by offering support to families in the fight against pancreatic cancer.”

“Serving on Declare Hope’s Board of Directors has been a dream come true and a wonderful way to honor Mrs. Cathy Scott. It’s not only brought another sense of purpose to leaving a footprint on this Earth and giving back to others, but it has also motivated me to spread even more awareness for pancreatic cancer.”
